Celan is a sludge / noise rock band that was created when Ari Benjamin Meyers of avant-garde / industrial band Einstürzende Neubaten and Christ Spencer of noise rock Unsane met. this isn't a typical sludge album, as the influence of Ari paves the way for a multitude of noisy soundscapes amid the heavy riffs.
