Thaw is a much heavier release than the other two Foetus albums i've posted here, and the jazzy instrumentation takes a back seat (though there are two tracks that resemble some sort of demented classical music). one particular standout track is English Faggot / Nothin Man, which features a barrage of drums along with Thirlwell's trademark gritty vocals pushed to the extreme. though really, the whole album is solid.
