unlike Hangedup's other two albums, their self-titled (and their first release) is not overly powerful. the duo is still impressive in terms of technical skill yet this is more subdued than their later, more experimental releases (though it does have a couple of songs that showcase their later energy) and as such is probably their easiest album to get into. not a bad thing by any means though!
