31knots are an indie / math rock band who serve up a solid album full of brilliant hooks from both the piano player and guitarist. the music is supported by the dynamic vocalist who is reminiscent of John Gourley (of Portugal. The Man) with a bit more of an aggressive edge - which is a pretty good description of their music as well. the album also features modest experimentation with a few strange ambient interludes scattered throughout the album.
