i've never really cared much for any of Cursive's work aside from this, but god damn this album is genius. post-hardcore / emo influenced indie with PASSION. the singer is dynamic and incredibly expressive and the addition of a viola player creates a fantastic sound in both the softer and heavier songs. ending with a 10-minute epic that many post-rock bands can't come close to, this album is a monster.
